It’s part of a celebrity’s job to look as best as they can, but even they don’t have the power to define nature. There are some celebrities who suffer from skin problems that are more noticeable than others. They may look great on the big screen or on the cover of magazines, but real-life might be a different story. Obviously, their skin problems haven’t been enough to stop them from becoming huge stars, but it’s nice to know that even a millionaire actors and singers aren’t perfect.
Brad Pitt – Brad Pitt skin problems don’t really seem to matter to the legion of women who absolutely adore him. It didn’t seem to make a difference to Angelina Jolie either when she eagerly plucked him away from the squelching talons of Jennifer Aniston. Brad Pitt has always had a bit of problems with acne, and it’s most noticeable in the pock marks on his face. We never really see him with an out right breakout which probably means he suffered from acne in his teens.
Sometimes he hides his face under a beard or facial hair, but his skin problems were never more noticeable than his first huge breakout performance in Thelma and Louise. But is his bad skin what we remember the most? Probably not, it was his washboard abs and small-town charm that launched him into superstardom. His scars seem to have healed a bit better with age or maybe they just evened with a few wrinkles.
Lindsay Lohan – in just a few short years, poor Ms. Lohan has managed to turn into a hot mess on a variety of levels. This is a rather sad case because her bad skin is self-inflicted due to a variety of bad habits. As you may know already, excessive drinking, smoking, and the use of drugs will really do a number on your skin. When you combine them all together in a continuous cycle, a girl in her 20′s can look 15 years older than she actually is.
Lindsay Lohan used to be a cutie pie with freckles but now she has dull lifeless skin that needs to be covered with makeup and Photoshop whenever she does a photo shoot. Her case can be a parable for many things, but perhaps it’s a story of how fame can lead to disaster if you’re not careful.
Watch this if you want nightmares:
Edward James Olmos – everybody’s favorite Battle Star Galactica Captain is famous for his pock-marked skin and uneven appearance. Of course that doesn’t really matter to his numerous fans from Miami Vice, Battle Star Galactica, and most recently, Dexter. And when it comes down to it, when you need a starship captain who remains cool and collected under the stress of an alien invasion, we couldn’t think of a better man. He’s one of our favorite actors of all time for his understated performances that can get quite intense whenever he needs to be.
Cameron Diaz – this is probably a case of too much Botox and just a touch of plastic surgery that has ruined an otherwise youthful appearance. She came out with a bang and her first role in the Mask and she looks like an entirely different person today. If you see close-up pictures of her face, you’ll notice huge bags under her eyes and something strange going on with her cheeks. Her complexion isn’t that great either and suffers from excessive oiliness is constantly covered up with a bit too much makeup. I’m not trying to rag on her, but I’m just wondering how there can be so much difference from when she first started out.

GAHHHHHH!
Madonna - Madonna has pretty good skin for her age, but the years are definitely showing. It’s not so much a case of acne or scar tissue here, it’s more fine lines associated with the rest of her body. There are numerous pictures of her arms and legs that feature pronounced veins and wrinkles. It’s rather odd to look at because it doesn’t match her face which is relatively flawless.
Bryan Adams – remember him? He’s the Canadian singer that brought us number one hits and the soundtrack for that horrible Robin Hood movie. He’s a rocker to the core and the good guy, but he’s world-renowned for having pretty bad skin. Unfortunately, age hasn’t done him any favors either and is pock-marked skin even more pronounced. He’s also got a weird haircut, but let’s not get to mean with this article.
Adam Lambert – the youngest addition to this list has personal flare and a great music career ahead of him. It’s also apparent that he wears tons of makeup and it’s not enough to cover his acne scars. But it doesn’t really matter because he’s got enough talent to carry him through any type of situation. He recently got into a huge fight with his boyfriend over in Finland, so let’s hope his celebrity isn’t going to his head. If he can stay on course and keep making music people want to listen to, there’s no reason why he can’t be a standout star, something that American Idol hasn’t produced in quite some time.
Still good-looking, um, but not quite natural…
